Atal Jal Yojana aims at sustainable groundwater management mainly through convergence between various ongoing programs with active participation of local communities and stakeholders.Under this project we used fund in program areas and ensures the long-term sustainability of groundwater resources. Convergence must also encourage state governments to invest appropriately, backed by a strong evidence base, scientific approach, and community participation. The project is designed as a pilot project with the main objective of strengthening the institutional framework for participatory groundwater management. It also aims to bring about behavioral change at the community level through awareness-raising programs and capacity building to promote sustainable groundwater management in participating countries.
